तन्हाई से काम चलाया करता हूं
ख्वाबों की तस्वीर बनाया करता हूं,
ख़ुद को ढूंढ़ रहा हूं एक मुद्दत से मैं
ढूंढ़ के खुद को खुद में छुपाया करता हूं,
अंदर चुप्पी साधे बैठा रहता हूं
बाहर से आवाज़ लगाया करता हूं,
इक खामोशी मुझसे बातें करती है
और मैं उसका मन बहलाया करता हूं,
मेरे एहसासों का दरिया खाली है
तो खुद को बारिश में भिगाया करता हूं,
मैं ही दरवाजे पर दस्तक देता हूं
मैं ही निकल कर बाहर आया करता हूं,
बस आईना ही मेरा एक साथी है
उसको अपना हाल सुनाया करता हूं,
तंग करूं मैं किसको कोई है ही नहीं
बस दीवारों को ही रुलाया करता हूं,
लैपटॉप को जब भी नींद नहीं आती
उसकी पीठ थपथपाया करता हूं,
मेरी किताबें गजलो की दीवानी हैं
क्योंकि उन्हें मैं शेर सुनाया करता हूं।।
